Senator Dino Melaye (SDM) has officially announced that he will contest the governorship race of his state - Kogi. Melaye who won the race for senatorial seat of kogi west again to beat his rival - Smart Adeyemi (who ran against each other in 2015 which Melaye won too) is ready to ditch the ticket of the National Assembly to run for the no 1 seat of the confluence state. Dino Melaye who was one time friend with the incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello; have been on war tent with the governor for a while now; and the Senator wants to size his muscles with that of Yahaya Bello in the battle of the state, popularity and tussle for power.
