Dapo express gratitude to RCCG - Obasanjo

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has expressed gratitude to individuals, corporate and religious organizations for their donations towards the fight against Coronavirus in the state.


He said: “The Good Samaritans responded promptly and selflessly to the plea by the state government for help from well-meaning Nigerians and foreign development agencies to aid the fight against COVID-19.

“Both Chief Obasanjo and Mr. Adeola donated their private residence and property in Abeokuta for use as isolation centres for suspected patients of COVID-19 within the state, while Adeboye donated an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), beds and ventilators for the treatment of patients and other equipment at Redeemer’s Health Centre, Mowe, Ogun State.

“Alhaji Rabiu, the Chairman of BUA, donated the sum of N100m as relief support, and made a pledge of medical supplies to the state.”

In his twitter handle he said: 
On behalf of the Ogun State people, I appreciate the voluntary humanitarian contributions of Baba Obasanjo,
, Mr Fola Adeola and Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, in response to the plea for intervention from private individuals, corporate organisations & religious bodies.
