Easter at lock-down -Benefits

Family Fun Easter Celebration 2020 at West Wind Drive-In and ...

Surely no one is used to this lock-down anywhere in the world; and surely never has anyone experience Easter holiday with the fact that there is not going to be free movement - surely it is Weird! but Real.

In Nigeria, The Inspector General of Police said concerning the Lock-down:

“The IG expresses deep concerns that for the first time in the annals of our history, circumstances have compelled us to emplace restrictions on social gatherings, which inevitably is also affecting religious programmes of all faith.
“He, therefore, enjoins Nigerians to see the restrictions in the light of the symbolism of Easter which connotes sacrifice, tolerance, perseverance, love and ultimate triumph.”

While this is not only a news in Nigeria, it is almost everywhere in the world that the lock-down is enforced. But.......there could just be a reason to celebrate Easter on the low key instead of the usual fanfare that some people are already use to.

Many families are use to going to church together, come back, cook food, host friends and family, probably have party - but leave out the whole essence of the Easter itself.

This Season of the remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ could not have come at a better time than now when many have died, world economy shutting down, many things may never remain the same due to coronavirus pandemic.

It could be better to bond more with family religiously this season, and get to know yourselves more better.

The Importance of Praying Together As A Family | Bread of Life Voice

Share time with the Bible.

Pray together.

Eat Together more differently than been used to.

Give time to games and jokes.

Learn more about each other.

It could actually be a Easter to remember, if well planned and spent well together; since no one pray for COVID-19 to go beyond this year.

Have a blessed Easter.
