Just recently, the Edo State Nigeria suffered a similar fate - though successful with 1,993 inmates on the run. And just today, Ondo state have suffered the same, as reports have it that inmates were released by hoodlums in the Correctional Service Centre in Okitipupa - Ondo State.
The Ikoyi - Lagos Centre was however not successful, as the armed forces on ground were able to resist any form of jail break.
