She is also a certified Customer service personnel, which of course was what she used for working in some corporate organization before she started her own business.
Her Business line did not start until she lost her Mum; who is into Fashion for many years with clients and several machines for her Job.
According to dolls - as she is fondly called by her peer group friends, she was never interested in her Mum business. But, after she passed on, she thought within herself that she doesn't want her mother's legacy to go down like that - especially with the mummy already having a brand name: Wemfeco.
It was after much thought, that she decided to pick up her mummy's Fashion Business.
Her challenge according to her was that: as at when she decided to pick up her Mum's business, she knew nothing about sewing but she love Fashion. She soon seek her close friend's advise who is into Fashion herself, and she advised her to employ people who know how to sew so as to help out; this dolapo did, and the Fashion business started.
According to her, she started her new line of Fashion and also new clients. She got her styles from social media and give it to her tailors to make for clients.
Soon after, Awodola felt she could be disappointed at a point in time by her staff - if they refuse to turn up. So, she decided to enroll in a fashion house herself to learn about fashion and sewing.
She was there for few months when she left; because, according to her: she was able to get the basics on time and with the help of youtube videos on how to sew, she got her way through. She also stressed that the pressure of clients cloths could not let her leave her shop for long to stay in a fashion apprenticeship.
Not too long, Dolapo became a known name for many - as her style of fashion turns out irresistible.
One of her notable achievement is when she was contacted to showcase her fashion on the runway at the oriental hotel.
Her love for singing and cooking is also part of the things you can not but like about Dolapo. People who have heard her sing do call her to do birthday shout-out. Also, her cooking abilities gave her the opportunity to be entrusted with the kitchen of a Hotel.
Dolapo said in her interview with albument.com that she Love to deal with human being which was why she never pursue a career with accounting which she studied.
She describe herself as someone who like to achieve her goal; and She is a lover of the blue color.
Oludolapo sees the brand Wemfeco, which she has taken over from her Mum, which now house Wemfecofashionplace & Wemfecokitchen to be a known name in no distance time.
Her motto is: what will be will be. She also say she works so that she won't be a burden to anyone; but according to her, I am not a workaholic! She claim she have time when she have fun and rest.
