Nigerian Celestine Babayaro lost youngest debutant Record



Nigerian Legend - Celestine Babayaro, who became the youngest player to ever star in the UEFA Champion League 26 years ago, has lost the record to Borussia Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko.

Babayaro who played for Anderlecht was at the time 16 years and 87 days when he played in 1994 against Steaua Bucharest. 

Moukoko broke the long standing record with 16 years and 18 days.




While Babayaro is a defender, Moukoko is a forward player.


The handsome Nigerian later played in the English Premiership for Chelsea in 1997 and was their for 7 seasons, winning the FA Cup, UEFA Cup Winners Cup and UEFA Super Cup.


The young Youssoufa Moukoko who is a German professional footballer, born in cameroon is a new star in the making.
