The New Chapter Of AS Roma

José Mourinho is like a movie you can't keep away from your screen. His success story with the game of football has made him indispensable no matter the negative headlines around him. Just when he was sacked by Tottenham in APRIL, he said he won't be taking a break; and many wonder which club would sign the former Chelsea tactician. May is here, and Mourinho is officially the next manager of  AS Roma.




Current boss - Paulo Fonseca, who is also a portuguese just like Jose, will be departing after the season. 

This will be José Mourinho second spell in Serie A after his heroic campaign with inter milan where he won trophies. 

Mourinho who spoke of his new job said: 

"After meetings with the ownership and Tiago Pinto, I immediately understood the full extent of their ambitions for AS Roma," Mourinho told the club's website.

"It is the same ambition and drive that has always motivated me and together we want to build a winning project over the upcoming years.

"The incredible passion of the Roma fans convinced me to accept the job and I cannot wait to start next season."

The Club have taken to their twitter to confirm the appointment of the Self-proclaimed "special one".
