A REPORTED RAPE CASE Of A 300 level student of the University of Ilorin with the name: Olajide Omowumi Blessing, has been confirmed by The Police Public Relations Officer of Kwara State Police Command- Ajayi Okasanmi.
Olajide Omowumi Blessing who was a student of the Department of Agriculture was revealed to have been raped to death at her home in Tanke (Ilorin) on Tuesday.
It was reported that the elder sister of Blessing has repeatedly tried to reach her on phone, but could not as the phone kept ringing.
After her sister came back from work, she met the door of her apartment locked and could not gain access despite repeated knocks on the door. She alerted some neighbors who helped to force the door open.
The PPRO said they all met the deceased lying dead on the floor when they entered; with her two hands tied to the back and her mouth gagged.
He said she was met naked, bruises were noticed on her private part and her mouth covered among others.
A piece of paper was met on her chest which says “Unilorin doesn’t forgive” he said.
The body has been taken to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
