Senator Adeleke Emerged Flag Bearer Of Peoples Democratic Party

Senator Adeleke has again emerged the flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the next governorship election in Osun State.


The 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election will take place on July 16, 2022, to elect the governor of Osun State.





The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun primary election, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has announced Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke as the candidate of the party in the July 16 gubernatorial election.



He said - Ademola Adeleke polled 1,887 votes to pick the ticket of the party for the governorship poll.


Presenting the PDP Certificate of Return to Adeleke, Ewhrudjakpo noted that 1,916 delegates were accredited, while 24 invalid votes were recorded.



Apart from Ademola, other contestant results are:  Dele Adeleke: 1; Dotun Babayemi: 0; Akin Ogunbiyi: 0; Fatai Akinbade: 0 and Sanya Omirin: 4.





 Ademola who was defeated by the Incumbent APC Governor - Gboyega Oyetola in a way many term shady, will have the opportunity to go head to head again with him.
