Moises Caicedo Plea To Brighton To Let Go Of Him

Brighton - Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo has confirmed he wants to leave the Seagulls club in an open letter on his Instagram page. This action is thought to be coming after the club reject Arsenal £60m bid for the Brighton midfielder.

This will come as a blow to manager Roberto De Zerbi who claims he has spoken with the player to be patient till the end of the season. The Italian who has done an incredible job since taking up the Brighton Job is aiming to go higher than the 6th position they are on the EPL table. The have already sold Marc Cucurella to Chelsea in a deal worth £60m, Yves Bissouma to Tottenham for £25m plus add-ons and Neal Maupay to Everton for £15m in the summer.

Earlier this month, Leandro Trossard left them to join Arsenal for an initial £21m.

Caicedo wrote: "I am grateful to Mr. Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them. I always play football with a smile and with heart.
"I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.

"I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.

"The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.”🙌🏽🙏🏽.

With Arsenal losing the FA cup tie to Premier League title rivals - Man City, this could make the gunners go further to table another bid for Caicedo.
