American-Leeds United Coach - Jesse Alan Marsch, has been axed less than 1 year after appointed to replace Argentine - Marcelo Bielsa in February.
Leeds lost 1-0 at Nottingham Forest on Sunday, their seventh Premier League game without a win.
He was viewed as a long term successor, but with relegation starring them in the face and possibly 6 points off with the whites facing in-form Manchester united back to back starting with Wednesday clash at Old-Trafford, the management are not ready to take any chance.
A club statement read: "We would like to thank Jesse and his backroom staff for their efforts and wish them well for the future.
"The process of appointing a new head coach is under way and we will continue to keep supporters up to date throughout the coming days."
