The Europa Dream Is Over For Manchester United

The Dream is finally over. Manchester United hope of lifting the Europa League Trophy came to an abrupt end after a dismal performance by reds against Sevilla FC 3-0 - 5-2 on aggregate.

The Match was almost wrapped up at old-Trafford with the tie in favour of united at 2-0, before the Spanish team (Sevilla) came back to drew 2-2.

Manchester United without the duo defensive partnership of Raphael Varane and The Butcher- Martinez was already doom for the second leg. It was also a match that was missing the creativity of Bruno Fernandes who was suspended for the second leg.

It was a match that must have given Erik Ten Hag a clearer picture of how united shape up without his key defenders. While no united player can come out clean with good performance in the Sevilla tie, it was the defense that fell apart from the beginning of the match.
