Rudi Völler Brought The German Spark Back

As expected, the changes on the touchline for the German National Team produced a remarkable result.

Hansi Flick who was sacked as Germany manager following Saturday's 4-1 friendly defeat by Japan in Wolfsburg - Germany, has endured terrible results after his initial positive start in the role.

But, losses for the German has changed the narratives, as the 58 years old Hansi could not save his Job. He becomes the first Germany boss to be sacked since the role was created in 1926.

Germany have lost four of their past five games, with Flick overseeing just 12 wins in his 25 matches since replacing Joachim Low in August 2021.

A new breathe was however witnessed in the team as German Legend Rudi Völler was appointed as a caretaker manager, and his first match was a win against former world Champions - France (2-1).

Germany who will be hosting the Euros next year are planning to host to win on home soil. And with new performance under a new manager, they could well be on their way to achieving that.
