Xavi To Remain As Barcelona Coach After Announcing Exit Plan In January

After announcing in January that he will be leaving the Catalonia side, Xavi has made a turn around to stay.

The Barcelona coach will now remain at the club until at least the end of his contract in June 2025 after changing his mind that this would be his last season.

President Joan Laporta was keen for him to remain, and that has helped his new decision.

Xavi took charge in November 2021 after leaving Qatari club Al Sadd and guided Barca to the Spanish title in his first full season in charge in 2022-23.

However, they are 11 points behind La Liga leaders - Real Madrid, with six games left to play in the current campaign.
