While the later seem to be against the way Wike do things in Abuja, and have accused Wike of embarking on infrastructural projects that have no impact on the lives of FCT residents;
the honorable minister seem not to be bothered at all, noting that he only get check by Mr. President.
Wike who spoke during the flag-off of Kwaita-Yebu Road in Kwali Area Council expected to cost around 7 billion naira:
“For those who are ignorant and don’t know what to say, that we are only doing roads, please let the people know that we are doing something.
“I don’t need to seek permission from anybody to tell him what projects I will embark upon.
“It is only the person who appointed me that I can seek such from and that is the President. So nobody can go on air and say they are not doing schools, I don’t need to come and inform you.”
