Building collapse Alert in Lagos (Video)

Another collapsed building alert was raised this morning, 14th-10-2024. At around 8:45 am, a two-storey building collapsed on Amusu Street, in the Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State.

In the video which was recorded and posted online, it shows the building collapsing right in front of people, with many taking to their heels. The initial fear was maybe they're occupants in the building, but the official of the LASEMA said there was no casualty. 

The Head, Public Affairs Unit, LASEMA, Mr Nosa Okunbor said:

“I can confirm to you that the incident happened this morning, but there were no casualties. An evacuation already took place before the collapse.”

The LASEMA source further stated that emergency responders were already at the scene of the incident.
