Patrick Doyle Brags About His Surname

 

Veteran Nigeria actor and ace broadcaster - Patrick Doyle has bragged about his surname as a master piece which has made his ex-wife - Ireti Doyle also a veteran in the movie industry not to drop his surname after their divorce was confirmed in 2023.

In an interview with The Muvment studio on Saturday, Mr. Patrick made known that he knew fame long before his ex-wife was popular.


Patrick stated that he became a star since he was 16-years-old, and that his level of success can not be defined or tied to anyone. Patrick is dispelling the believe that Ireti using his surname is to his advantage.

“I have been popular since I was 16. How long has she been around? I have been around for 45 years and I’m still around. I was a superstar at the age of 16; a champion debater. I debated against Yemi Osinbajo,” he said.


“I can never be defined by her. My body of work is too solid to be defined by any human being living or dead. Why is the name Doyle popular? Why didn’t she (Ireti) revert and change name at the end of the marriage?,” he said.
