Tinubu Has Renamed Unimaid As Muhammadu Buhari University

 

The President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, has ordered the change of the University of Maiduguri to Muhammadu Buhari University.

This was disclosed through X in a statement by the presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday.


“President Tinubu renames University of Maiduguri as MUHAMMADU Buhari University.

 President Tinubu announced the honor at the session of tributes of the expanded Federal Executive Council to his late predecessor.” 

The Son of the Late President - Yusuf Buhari, was also in the expanded FEC meeting, he thanked the President, the first lady and others for their presence and for given their father a state burial.
