How To Woo Guest With Your Meal

Not all guests leave their visit with pleasant faces, and the question is WHy....... Your preparation was not good enough or your finishing wasn't appealing enough.

Let assume you are hosting a dinner for a first time guest or guests; then remember, the slogan "First Impression matters."

If you are in this category of planning for a guest(s), these are some of the things you need to consider:

  1. Personality. What type of person are you looking to host? Assume in your mind that your guest is someone who takes note of little attention; whether that is the case or not, top notch is not always expensive - sometimes it is given attention to little details. Try something a little extra.
  2. Colors. Sometimes, colors can take a show off even if the food is nice - you don't think! some people are color conscious and could get turned off with a dull color. Make the color of the dinning full of light since it is not a romantic evening.
  3. Smell. While the Aroma of food is great, it should not fill the house. You need less choking and decent spray in the house take it's own accolade apart from the meal.
  4. Get more than one meal prepared, as guests always love varieties. In the case of - for instance Rice, make all sorts of style of it.
  5. Make the guest feel free, don't choke up the table - so as to avoid breaks. Get little bit of this and that on little plates, and then when guest decide, you can dish from kitchen.
  6. Since there will be on and off silence on the table, and just not to make the table boring, soft songs could help on the background.
  7. Clearing table as soon as your guest drop the cutlery is important, as leftover could be upsetting.
  8. Guest naturally will compliment your meal before or after leaving the table; so, help yourself first by leaving a mark on their minds by saying - "Thanks for having the meal." This will surely make the meal worth it in their stomach.
