Manchester United Announce 2 Players To Depart The Club

 


  Manchester United have confirmed that 2 of their players will be leaving the club. The two players are Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba.

Jesse An Academy graduate and dyed-in-the-wool Red, Jesse has been with United for over 20 years, having originally joined our Under-9s team in 2001. He was a key member of Warren Joyce’s FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2011, scoring in the first leg of the 6-3 aggregate final victory over Sheffield United.



The club thank him for his stewardship: We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jesse for all of the memories he’s helped create during his two decades here and wish him the best of luck in his future career.

Departing Paul Pogba was signed back from Juventus when United paid a then world record £89m to bring him back. He was an instant success when he came to the club - winning trophies with Jose Mourinho.


Paul also like Jesse, was an academy player, he was also a key member of Warren Joyce’s FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2011. He initially joined United as a young player from French side - Le Havre at the age of just 16.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Paul on his successful career, and thank him for his contributions to Manchester United.
