The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) - Rabiu Kwankwaso, has reportedly picked Archbishop Isaac Idahosa as his running mate for the 2023 election.
The party disclosed this in a tweet on its Twitter handle on Thursday.
Isaac Idahosa who hails from Edo State, is the Archbishop of God First Ministries (a.k.a Illumination Assembly). The church has its headquarters at Ajah - Lagos State, Nigeria.
Kwankwaso and his party have been unable to convince Peter Obi of Labour Party to form alliance with him and become his running mate.
And with the decision of the APC to use Muslim-Muslim ticket (Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima), the selection of Archbishop Idahosa who is a Christian cleric could be a plot to counter the APC that have incurred a lot of disapproval from the public.
