APC - A Party Of Failure, Pain, Anguish – Amaechi Writes In Resignation Letter

The former Minister of Transportation and Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has water down the hope of his former party - APC, describing the party as failure, pain and anguish.

He pen all these words down in his resignation letter to the Chairman of the APC in Ward 8, Ubima, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State, dated July 1, 2025.

Amaechi in his letter said - his decision to leave is as a result of the APC loosing focus. “to rescue our dear nation from the fangs of failure, pain and anguish which the All Progressives Congress now symbolizes”.

“After a wide range of consultations, I am convinced that this is the appropriate moment to call it quits as the party has derailed from the lofty ideals that birthed its formation, and so, can no longer inspire hopes in Nigeria for a greater future. I have therefore taken a decision to join forces with well meaning compatriots to start a fresh journey for the liberation of Nigeria.”

Amaechi is one of the leaders of the opposition coalition formed to unseat the incumbent government in 2027.
